Carrie M. Nelson

Bio

 

Born in Idaho in 1984, Carrie Nelson was raised all over the United States before her family settled in the Denver Metro Area. Even though Carrie considers herself from Colorado, she is in love with the Pacific Northwest where she has lived since 2007. The landscape in that region has captured her imagination, especially the Cascades. The photographs that Nelson has taken in the Pacific Northwest drive her current body of work.

 

Nelson’s work has been published in the 2013 edition of the Oregon East magazine. She enjoys hiking, traveling, and studying family history. She is married and has one son. Presently, they live in Baker City, Oregon.
